Radio Fox is a voluntary organisation and we are always looking for new members.  It’s not just abut presenting though!  Our members get involved in fundraising, helping in the record library, manning PA’s around Leicestershire and most importantly, visit the wards of the Royal and the Glenfield to collect requests and meet our listeners.

If you’d like to join Radio Fox, please e-mail our Vice Chairman Caren Chamberlain – caren.chamberlain@radiofox.co.uk. Caren will then contact you within 10-14 days.

Our current membership fee is £28.00 per annum. When you join the station, you will be asked to pay a £5.00 deposit, this will entitle you to probationary membership for three months. Probationary members are assigned to a request show to help collect requests and take part in the live show.

If, after the three month period, you are accepted as a full member, you will need to pay the full membership fee on a pro rata basis. Once you have become a full member and at the discretion of the Station Director, you will be invited to attend the next available training course to become a presenter and take on your own show.  

Please note that we will only train members who are prepared to show a firm commitment to the station.
