Fundraising & Sponsorship
Radio Fox is a registered charity and that means we have to rely on donations and fundraising to maintain our service to the Leicester Royal Infirmary and the Glenfield Hospital.
Although we receive the use of our studio complex for free Radio Fox is responsible for maintain and replacing all the studio equipment and ensuring our record library is kept up to date. To give you an idea of some of the costs involved, should one of the mixing desks in our studios fail it would cost around £6000 to replace – a tall order for a small charitable organisation.
Our main income comes through doing PA’s at local fetes, gala days and other special events, so if you want a quality PA service at your event, why not give Radio Fox a try?
We can provide background music, announcements, competitions and microphone facilities. We often broadcast live reports from local events back to our listeners – so far in 2009 we have broadcast live from the restaurant at the Glenfield Hospital to cover a thank you event and recorded a show from the back of our float in the Leicester Caribbean Carnival.
Our hire rates are very competitive and all money goes towards the running costs of the station. Find out more by contacting our Finance Director Scott Mclaren on 258 5555, you can also contact us by writing or via this website.
Radio Fox also welcomes financial donations towards our running costs and we are also able to accept programme sponsorship at very reasonable rates. You may also like to consider sponsoring a feature such as our local news, the request chart number one or our sports coverage. For more information, get in touch with Scott.
