The latest patientline figures have revealed Radio Fox is the most listened to station in hospital.

The nearest rivals to Radio Fox were BBC Radio Two with a 23% share of the audience.
The most listened to programmes were all request related programmes, with the Request Chart also making the top three.
Radio Fox spokesperson Kris Bramwell said: “This just highlights the importance of ward visiting to hospital radio. We are reaping the rewards of having regular interaction with our audience.”
Radio Fox is Number 1!

Radio Fox has just enjoyed the most successful night in its twenty one year history, having come away from this year’s National Hospital Radio Awards with the biggest prize of them all.
The station was given the Gold Award in the Station of the Year category, meaning that Radio Fox has been judged to be the UK’s best hospital radio station! The judges said that on the entry, our presenters sounded like they were enjoying themselves and were passionate about what they did, and that the presenters worked well as a team.
This is the second time Fox has won a Gold award, the first being in 2007 when Sandy Iliff won the Female Presenter Of The Year category. In this year’s awards, Fox also picked up highly commendeds in the Special Event (for our Caribbean Carnival coverage) and Station Promo categories, and commended in the Specialist Music show section (for Les Eastham’s Sixties Scene).
Station Director Steve Hack said of our success: “Wow! I think none of us could really believe we had been awarded Gold in Station of the Year – I’m still taking it in! This is a fantastic tribute to the hard work everyone at Radio Fox puts in to their programmes and it’s a brilliant way to start our 21st year on air.”
